Art Adventures
The Minneapolis Institute of Arts Arts Adventure Program introduces RES students to works of art from a variety of cultures. After training, parent volunteers visit RES classrooms with posters of art relating to a common theme. This is a FUN volunteer opportunity and not hard at all. You DO NOT need to be an artist or creative to volunteer for Art Adventure. PLEASE NOTE: There is a time commitment to this program. Volunteers need to attend a 2-hr training program at the Minneapolis Institute of Art, as well as do weekly presentations to RES students over an 8-week period (January and February). Each presentation last 15-30 minutes (depending on the grade). Training September - November
Event dates: Spring 2017
